Before your appointment, we’ll ask you to complete our online patient registration form and send through results of any blood tests or medical imaging so we can review them.
What do I bring to my first appointment?
You’ll need a referral from your GP or specialist before you can visit.
Beyond that, we also ask you to bring:
Your Medicare, DVA, and/or pension cards
Private health insurance details
Any correspondence from other health professionals (e.g. physiotherapist)
A list of questions you want to ask so you don’t forget on the day
Remember, the more information we have, the better we can support you.
What are your fees?
An initial consultation costs $230. We’ll take full payment on the day of your attendance. We’ll send a claim to Medicare on your behalf and you’ll receive a rebate directly into your bank account, usually within 1-2 business days. The rebate partially covers the consultation fee.
If needed, subsequent consultations cost $122. This fee is also partially covered through a Medicare rebate.
If you need surgery, you’ll receive a quote as part of your consultation. With the full amount to be paid 7 days prior to surgery.
Post-operative appointments are generally included as part of your surgical fee.
When should I arrive for my appointment?
We kindly ask that you arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your appointment time. This helps us to ensure all relevant paperwork is completed so you can get the most out of your appointment and we can stay on time.

When and how to refer a patient.
For GPs, feel free to refer anytime you require support in managing the condition, not only for surgery.
For physiotherapists, I’m happy to book patients based on your referral, but they will also require an additional referral from their GP prior to their first visit.
You have multiple options when sending a referral:
For chronic knee pain, a weight-bearing xray is helpful.
For shoulder conditions, an xray and ultrasound is helpful.
For suspected knee ligament injuries, I can arrange an MRI scan prior to their initial consultation.
How can I contact you?
For non-urgent questions, you can reach me on (07) 3180 3308.
Once your patient is booked for surgery, I’ll provide my mobile phone number so you can easily reach me for urgent post-operative matters.
