You want to feel like yourself again.
I’m here to help you find the clearest path there.
Whether you’re a
High-performance athlete
A treatable injury shouldn't define your future or limit what you can do.
That belief is what drew me to orthopaedic surgery 20 years ago. Since then, I've helped thousands of people get back to the sport, work, and life they were made for.
Movement is fundamental to our wellbeing. No matter who we are.
From your first appointment, you should completely understand your condition and all available options. So you feel confident in the best path forward, whether that involves surgery or not.
Hi, I’m Dr Chris Bell.
I’m on a mission to improve your quality of life through personalised, evidence-based orthopaedic and sports medicine care.
My qualifications.
After completing my orthopaedic training in Queensland, I completed advanced fellowship training in shoulder and knee surgery under leading surgeons in Australia, the USA, and Europe. For more than a decade, I’ve refined these skills as a Director at QEII Hospital, one of Queensland’s largest elective orthopaedic centres, where I still serve as a Staff Specialist while treating private patients at Greenslopes Private Hospital and Sunnybank Private Hospital.

My practice lives these values every day.
Clarity above all.
Doing everything I can to ensure you understand your condition, your options, and your best path forward.
Led by you.
Your priorities guide every decision we make. All treatments are shaped around your goals and the activities that matter most to you.
Evidence first.
Providing clear recommendations, explaining trade-offs openly, and supporting you to make decisions with confidence and dignity. You’ll always know where you stand and why I’m suggesting a particular approach.
Straight-forward advice.
Everything you need to prepare for treatment and maximise your recovery: pre-op preparation, post-op support, clear instructions, and expert answers to all of your questions.
Connected care.
Your treatment doesn’t stop when you leave my rooms. It’s part of a broader journey back to health. I coordinate with your GP, physiotherapist, and allied health team to ensure continuity of care at every stage.
